What changes are happening with Honeywell Aerospace benefits?

There will be no changes to your selected benefits. You will continue to be enrolled in the same plans you selected during Annual Enrollment for the remainder of 2026.

Why are the benefits programs transitioning before the official company separation?

This early transition, prior to the anticipated official separation in Q3, allows us to complete required administrative updates while avoiding disruption to your coverage.

Can I go to the Honeywell Aerospace Benefits Center to make coverage changes after 4/1?

Yes, Honeywell Aerospace will use a similar Benefits Center website that Honeywell currently has. You will need to register as a first-time user on this new site to view your current coverage. You will be able to view and make changes mid-year if you have a qualifying life event. This site will be live beginning 4/1.

Does the spin-off of Honeywell Aerospace allow you to make changes to your healthcare benefits?

No. You can only make mid-year changes to your benefits coverage if you have a qualifying life event (for example marriage, add a newborn, lost coverage through spouse’s employer). The creation of Honeywell Aerospace as its own company, by itself, does not give you the opportunity to change your healthcare benefits.

Will my benefits premiums change post-separation?

No, there will be no changes to your premium deductions post-separation. You will pay the same amount for the remainder of the 2026 plan year unless you make a change due to a qualifying life event.

Health and Insurance Topics

Will there be any changes to my medical plan benefits?

No, your medical plan benefits will stay the same under Honeywell Aerospace.

Will my YTD medical/Rx deductibles and/or out of pocket maximums be transferred to Honeywell Aerospace?

Yes. During the month of April your YTD deductibles and out-of pocket maximums will be moved over to the Honeywell-Aerospace policy at your medical carrier (CIGNA/Horizon/Kaiser) and prescription drug carrier (CVS/Optum).

Will the transfer of my YTD deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums take place right after 4/1?

No. Our medical carriers have informed us this will occur over the course of April. During the time of the transition, if you require healthcare services from your PCP or other healthcare provider and you have already met your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum for 2026, have your provider’s office connect with your medical carrier directly to confirm how much you need to pay for a given service.

Will I receive new medical ID cards for my 2026 benefits?

Yes. New digital ID cards will be available online by visiting your benefit plan website or app. You will receive physical ID cards in the mail in late March from some vendors. For those enrolled with Cigna, you will only see a change to your digital ID card on their website or app on 4/1. No physical ID cards will be mailed by Cigna unless you call and request one.

Will my Honeywell medical ID cards work until I receive my new cards?

Your Honeywell ID cards with the carrier will no longer work after 3/31/26. Your new Honeywell Aerospace ID cards will serve as a permanent replacement beginning 4/1. If you currently utilize a digital card, the digital card will automatically change on the vendors website/ app to your new card on 4/1.

Will there be any changes to my prescription drug coverage?

No, your prescription coverage will continue under your Honeywell Aerospace Medical Plan. For those covered by Cigna/Horizon, you may visit CVS Caremark’s website to learn more: https://www.caremark.com/ For those covered by Kaiser Permanente, please refer to the Kaiser website for information on your prescription drugs.

Will there be any changes to my dental plan benefits?

No, your dental benefits will stay the same under Honeywell Aerospace. You may review your dental benefits at anytime by connecting with Cigna if you are enrolled in the DHMO, or MetLife if you are enrolled in the Dental PPO plans.

Will I receive new ID cards for dental plan benefits?

Yes, you will receive new ID cards in the mail for Cigna DHMO and MetlIfe, and new digital cards will be available online through your dental carrier’s website portal or app.

Will there be any changes to my vision plan?

No, your vision plan benefits will stay the same. You may access more information about your vision plan benefits at https://www.vsp.com.

Will I still have access to My Medical Ally resources for myself and my family member(s)/dependents?

Yes, you and your family and/or dependents will still have full access to My Medical Ally resources. You may visit https://mymedicalally.alight.com/ to request support at any time for yourself or a family member/dependent(s).

Will I still be able to access Employee Assistance Programs through HealthResource?

Yes, you will still be able to take advantage of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, including up to eight counseling sessions per issue per year.

Will Honeywell Aerospace continue the Biometrics Program in 2026?

Yes. Honeywell Aerospace intends to continue the Biometrics Program, you will receive information regarding the 2026 Biometric Screening campaign in early June.

Will I still have access to an employee discount program through Beneplace?

Yes, you will have access to an employee discounts platform with employee discount benefit offers. You may visit www.beneplace.com or access through HR Direct to learn about monthly offers.

Will Bright Horizons services still be available?

Benefits provided by Bright Horizons, such as child care, elder care, college admissions counseling, will continue to be available to Honeywell Aerospace employees.

Will I still have access to free Teladoc services if I am enrolled in Horizon or Cigna under The Honeywell Aerospace Medical Plan?

Yes, you will still have access to free Teladoc services if you are enrolled with Cigna or Horizon. You may visit www.TeladocHealth.com to learn more.

For life insurance and AD&D coverage, will my beneficiaries on file be transferred to my new policy with Aero?

Yes, your beneficiaries on file will be transferred to your new Aero policy.

Will my Group Universal Life benefits with Securian transition to Honeywell Aerospace?

Yes, your existing coverage and beneficiary information will be transferred to the Honeywell Aerospace policy.

Health Savings Account (HSA) Transition

When will my HSA balance be transferred to my new account?

This will be done in two waves, depending on where you work. The first wave will include employees that are part of the following entities:

  • Baker Electronics Inc.
  • EMS Defense Technologies, Inc
  • Grimes Aerospace Company
  • CAES Mission Systems, CAES Systems, Colorado Engineering
  • Rocky Research

The blackout period for this group will be 3/23-3/27. We encourage you not to submit HSA claims or complete withdrawals from your account during this time period. If you use your HSA throughout the blackout period, you may be asked to complete an individual transfer with Bank of America at a later date.

The second wave will include all remaining employees transitioning to Honeywell Aerospace. The blackout period will be 4/6 - 4/10. We encourage you not to submit HSA claims or complete withdrawals from your account during this time period. If you use your HSA throughout the blackout period, you may be asked to complete an individual transfer with Bank of America at a later date.

Will I get new debit cards for my HSA/FSA with Bank of America?

Yes, new debit cards will be provided to you after the blackout periods mentioned above are completed and your balance has been transferred. You will need to create a new login on the Bank of America site at that time.

Can I continue using my existing HSA card while I wait for my new card?

Once your new debit card is issued by Bank of America, your existing card will still be functional for up to 10 days. Upon recent of your new card, you can activate it and begin using immediately.

Can I keep my existing HSA balance with HON and start a new account with Aero?

No, your current balance and investment selections, if applicable, will automatically transfer to a new account under Honeywell Aerospace during one of the two waves mentioned above.

Can I make changes to my 2026 HSA goal amount as a result of the Honeywell Aerospace split?

Yes, you can make changes to your HSA goal amount during the year for any reason, but no more than once per month.

Flexible Savings Account (FSA) Transition

When will my FSA be transferred to Honeywell Aerospace?

The blackout to submit FSA claims will begin after end of business 3/20/26. Bank of America anticipates the blackout will last until mid-April.

Will I be able to submit 2025 claims up until 3/31/26?

Yes, however you will need to submit those claims via paper form, as the ability to submit electronically will be turned off during the blackout period.

When will I be able to submit 2026 claims?

Once the blackout is over in mid-April you will be able to submit any claims incurred during 2026.

If I only have an FSA, will I also get a new card?

Yes, if you only have a Limited Purpose FSA or Dependent Care FSA you will get a new card from Bank of America and be required to set up new login credentials.

For employees that have both HSA and FSA accounts, please expect new cards to be mailed in mid-April.

Can I make changes to my FSA goal amount as a result of the Honeywell Aerospace split?

No. You can only make mid-year changes to your FSA if you have a qualifying life event. The separation of Honeywell Aerospace itself does not allow you to make a change.

401(k) Plan Transition

Will my 401(k) account be transitioned to Honeywell Aerospace?

Yes, the transition of 401(k) balances to new Honeywell Aerospace plans will occur on 3/31 for all Honeywell Aerospace employees, including nonunion and union employees of FM&T, and Puerto Rico.

Will there be a blackout period where I won’t be able to make any changes or withdrawals from my 401(k) account?

Yes, there will be a 1-day blackout scheduled for 3/31 where you will not be able to access your 401(k) plan. Please be on the lookout for additional information from Fidelity in late March.

Will I be able to access my new Honeywell-Aerospace 401(k) account at Fidelity using NetBenefits?

Yes, you will be able to access your new plan account using the same ID/password that you used for your Honeywell 401(k) plan.

Will Fidelity send me information about the transition?

Yes, you will receive an email with a link to a Transition Guide that will explain all aspects of the transition to the Honeywell Aerospace 401(k) plans.

Will Honeywell stock in my 401(k) account also be transferred as of 4/1?

Yes, Honeywell stock will be transferred into the Honeywell Aerospace 401(k) plans on 4/1.

What will happen to Honeywell stock in 401(k) accounts at legal spin?

At legal spin, projected to be in Q3, Aerospace stock will be issued as a dividend. Employees will see both Honeywell and Aerospace shares reflected in their accounts after a temporary blackout period needed to process the stock split. Shares of Honeywell Aero and HON will be proportionate to the stock price of each company. Therefore, there is no loss of value during the time of spin. After the spin, the stock could move up or down based on the performance of each company.

Will the Honeywell Aerospace 401(k) have the same percentage match?

Yes, the 401(k) percentage match will remain the same for both Honeywell and Honeywell Aerospace.

Pension/Retirement Transition

Will my pension benefits transition to Honeywell Aerospace?

Yes, for those with a pension benefit under HON, your benefits will be transferred to Honeywell Aerospace when the official separation (hard spin) occurs. Until that date, you can continue to view information on your pension benefit through the Honeywell Benefits Center.

Will my pension benefits be protected when they move to Aero?

Yes, the pension benefits you have accrued are protected by the PBGC (Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation) of the federal government. By law you cannot lose benefits that you have already earned/accrued.

Will there be changes to retirement benefits for Honeywell and Honeywell Aerospace employees after the spin?

We expect that pension benefits will remain the same immediately following the spin. After the spin is complete, each separate company and its respective retirement plan fiduciary committee will make decisions about the plans independently.

Will my Honeywell years of service be honored with Honeywell Aerospace?

Yes, your years of service will be honored.

Will my U.S. pension still be vested?

Yes. If your pension benefit is fully vested as of the spin-off date, it will remain fully vested after the transaction.

What will happen to legacy Honeywell pension formulas?

There are no changes to pension formulas as part of the spin. Employees will remain in their current formula, and accrual calculations will continue as they do today.

What will happen long term to pension plans?

Through 2026, there will be no changes. After the separation, future decisions will be made independently by the Honeywell Aerospace and Honeywell benefits teams as part of their ongoing strategic planning processes. Each company will continue an annual review of benefits.
